ImmunoGen presents data at the American Society of Clinical Oncology's annual meeting on one of its growing number of internal compounds, IMGN388, in early development against solid tumors. The antibody conjugate company is building on positive results with trastuzumab-DM1, the Herceptin-based hybrid it built for Roche.

The Department of Justice, state attorneys general, FTC ask the Second Circuit Court of Appeals to rehear the Cipro reverse settlement case en banc. The court ruled last month that it had no choice but to find that the agreement did not violate antitrust laws given its 2005 ruling in a case involving tamoxifen. The DoJ reiterates that the tamoxifen standard is wrong as it gives "sweeping antitrust immunity" to reverse settlements between brand and generic manufacturers.
